Our Referral and Value Added Reseller (VAR) Programs

Over the years we’ve been able to bring on a large amount of customers simply through referrals – there’s no better testimonial or advertisement than word of mouth! Many times, a happy client will tell other businesses in their building or association about their relationship with us, and make the introduction.

One of our biggest sources of referrals has come from IT and computer vendors who help their customers find the Internet, voice, and data providers that will best fit their needs. After all, often it will be the IT consultant who’s making the calls to the ISP or carrier to resolve issues, get information, or work on ongoing projects – they want to make sure they’re working with an ISP who will be able to assist them every step of the way.

We’ve built the referral and Value Added Reseller (VAR) program here at MegaNet based on our own experiences with other vendors and carriers. There’s nothing worse than calling a company to get some basic information and sitting on hold for 30 minutes, or having to wade through countless phone menus, or finally getting through to someone only to be told that we actually need to email a department with a question, and hope for a response within the next 48 hours. ¬†Believe us, we know how frustrating that is.

In some VAR, wholesale, or referral programs, the referring company needs to place orders through an online portal, and receive customer support in the same way. When questions come up, it may be difficult to figure out if the IT consultant is in fact ordering the correct service for their client’s needs, and then it’s back to the phone menu maze to try and figure things out. To avoid that, any MegaNet referral agent who wants to order a new service for their client can do so right over the phone with their assigned account executive. This way, there’s no confusion, no concern over pricing issues, and any questions the client has can be answered fully, and right away.

Our referral program is also very flexible, as we know IT consultants and vendors all prefer to do things based on what works for them and their customers, not the carrier. We’re happy to work directly with the IT vendor, or directly with the client if that’s the better way to work on issues or get orders placed. Our compensation plan can also be set up to best meet the consultant’s schedule – we can offer compensation on a one time basis, or on a monthly recurring schedule. The MegaNet referral program is non-exclusive, so participants can make sure that their clients are getting the absolute best price and service, not tied into a solution that “might sort of kind of” work.

With no minimums, our referral program will work for any sized IT consultant or vendor. T1 lines, DSL, Metro Ethernet, dedicated servers, Hosted PBX, VoIP, security solutions, and more are all available to be ordered and configured based on your client’s needs.
