Meganet Communications operates two collocation facilities in the city of Providence.
The Foundry
The first location located at the Foundry Complex near the new Providence Place Mall is connected to Meganet’s regional fiber loop. This facility was designed to service customers who require primarily AC power in a climate controlled carrier neutral facility with redundant climate control and backup generator power. DC power is available upon request. Easy access is also available to other networks in the same complex including Verizon, AT&T, Global Naps and Level3 Communications. This space is accessible 24/7 and employs state of the art fire suppression and close circuit security monitoring.
The Regency
The second facility is located at The Regency Plaza in downtown Providence. This facility was designed to serve the needs of communications carriers and providers requiring large amounts DC power for “telco-grade” equipment. This location is currently provisioned with WorldCom and Verizon fiber.
