Managed Firewalls-
A true firewall allows bi-directional (incoming/outgoing) network packet filtering and should be part of comprehensive security policy developed in association with company management and IT personnel. Final configurations take into consideration, the various operating systems in use and the types of access required to and from the LAN, locking down any unnecessary access ports and restricting access to "allowed" ports as much as possible. Firewall logs are transmitted in real-time to our Network Operation Center where they are monitored for intrusion attempts and trend analysis. Changes in usage trends are often just as important as monitoring errors and intrusion attempts. A change in usage could signify network policy abuse or the addition of a new network service not covered under the current security policy. Our managed firewall service can be bundled with an optional web filtering subscription that is updated daily to prevent access to website categories deemed inappropriate by company management.

VPNs are private encrypted tunnels used to create secure network connections between corporate LANs over the Internet.
